Delivery Information

Miniature Aircraft ships all packages using FedEx or Deutsche Post / DHL shipping. Choosing to utilize our standard Flat Rate Shipping option allows Miniature Aircraft to select the shipping method which we feel best meets both of our needs. If you wish to use an expedited service offered by FedEx or Deutsche Post, please contact Miniature Aircraft either by email, or by placing a comment on your order. After your order is pulled and packed, we will contact you with the shipping charges for the method you wish to use. Tracking numbers will be emailed to the email address provided in your account the morning after your package has shipped.

International Customers
Upon check out you will notice only one shipping option (small Flat Rate Shipping). After your order is pulled and packed, we will determine if your order qualifies for the small flat rate shipping charge. If it does, your order will ship promptly and you will be provided a tracking number the morning after it is shipped. If we find that your order does not qualify for small flat rate shipping, we will calculate actual shipping costs for Deutsche Post / DHL  (usually 6-10 business days) and FedEx  (usually 1-3 business days) and we will contact you with those rate/options by emailing the address provided in your customer account. If we do not get a response from you with your choice within 5 business days, your order will be cancelled. Any duties or taxes imposed by your country are your responsibility. IT IS A CRIME to falsify trade documents. We do NOT include false value statements – only actual invoices.

Back Orders
We will NEVER CHARGE YOUR CARD for anything on backorder until it is ready to ship to you. If you have selected an item that is out of stock, we will contact you via telephone or email to allow you choose how to proceed. You will be offered a few options depending on the status of the out of stock item(s).

  1. You may choose to hold your order until it is able to be filled complete.
  2. You may choose to ship the parts that are available now, and hold the backorder portion only. This will incur addition shipping charges.
  3. You may choose to ship the available items and cancel the backorder.
  4. Or you may choose to cancel your entire order.

 

Warranty/Damage/Missing Parts Policy

Warranty Items
The warranty covers defects in material or workmanship or missing components to the original purchaser for 30 days from the date of purchase. Miniature Aircraft will replace or repair, at our discretion, the defective or missing component. Defective components must be returned to us prior to replacement. Any part, which has been improperly installed, abused, crash damaged or altered by unauthorized agencies, is not covered. Under no circumstances will the buyer be entitled to consequential or incidental damages. The components used in this kit are made from special materials designed for special applications and design strengths. We recommend that all replacement parts be original parts manufactured by Miniature Aircraft, to ensure proper and safe operation of your model. Any part used which was manufactured by any firm other than Miniature Aircraft, VOIDS all warranties of the product by Miniature Aircraft.

Damaged Items
If you are not certain that a package is still intact when it arrives, MAKE THE DELIVERY PERSON WAIT while you open the box and verify that the contents survived. Never accept a badly beaten package - from us or anyone else. If there is damage or the shipping box has been broken open and parts are missing, REFUSE delivery and call us. If you have accepted a package and then find that there was damage to an item(s), contact FedEx / USPS immediately for instructions on filing a claim. Clearance items are not covered by any warranty through Miniature Aircraft. Those parts are sold as is, while supplies last only. By purchasing clearance items you are agreeing to these terms.

Mistakes and Returns
If WE make a mistake and ship the wrong item, call us for authorization to return the item for exchange or full refund.

If YOU make a mistake and decide you don't want an item or ordered the wrong thing, email us for instructions. Most items can be returned as long as they are in exactly the same condition as when we sent them. Some items do incur a restocking fee, and some items are not returnable if they have been opened. ANY item returned will ONLY be credited IF you have PRIOR AUTHORIZATION, all of the original packaging AND the invoice (make a copy) and return the item to our store with all shipping and insurance fees paid. We do not accept any CODs. Unauthorized returns will be refused and you will be charged by your carrier for shipping both ways.
